Evolv Defy shoe - These were my first climbing shoes and they lasted a long time
and took me far. I like the hook-and-lace straps system because they are easy to
get on/off. I recommend these shoes for beginners - advanced climbers. Very
affordable and a good shoe for all around climbing.

Mad Rock Super Loco - I came across a fantastic deal for these shoes that I just
couldn't turn down. As a Firefighter of course I like the flames on the straps and
sides. One problem is that the flames on the straps have started to wear off.
Other than that I have been completely happy with this pair of shoes. They've
worked for me from smearing, cracks, small edges, toe hook and heel hooks. If you
can afford these shoes get a pair.

Black Diamond Momentum Harness - A comfortable well fitting harness is important.
I purchased this harness when I first started and it has never disappointed me.
Even when setting routes and being on the wall for a long time it's still
comfortable. Has 4 gear loops, haul loop and adjustable leg loops.
